Kelly began travelling at the age of 17 and hasn’t looked back since.

With a dream of becoming a digital nomad, she has set herself a goal to live as cheaply and freely as possible. Her passion for writing and photography has sparked from the numerous adventures and willingness to SayYesMore.
With a heavy focus on travel in general, this blog is also aimed to highlight and encourage solo women to venture off without breaking the bank; to underline that barriers are few.

In 2014 Kelly started climbing and learned how to ski in the Italian Dolomites;
in 2015 she headed off to Iceland with a second hand bike before jetting off to China, where she spent the year teaching English in Beijing.
She’s currently travelling around Australia with no real plan.

  2. Hello there

My name is Brigid from Cape Town, South Africa. I found your blog on the Big Blog Exchange competition and think it is pretty awesome.

I thought I would start my own little blog exchange by extending an offer to other bloggers thinking of visiting my beautiful city 🙂 If you ever make it to Cape Town please do get in touch – I will do my best to offer you a bed/ couch and will definitely show you around what I think is the most beautiful city in the world.

I am also participating in the Big Blog Exchange – though the Africa standings seem to have very few votes compared to your region.

Could you please vote for me? I voted for you 😉

    Thank you and good luck!

    1. Hi Brigid!
Thanks very much for taking the time to comment and vote for my blog 🙂 I have done the same for you!
I will also keep you in mind when I visit Cape Town – it is somewhere I have always wanted to go.
Good luck with the Big Blog exchange competition! 🙂

  3. I’m zooming around the internet checking out blogs by solo women cyclists – planning on starting my own adventure this time next year (when the dog shuffles off this mortal coil). I just saw you hail from Cornwall – I’m next door in Devon. I wanted to travel when I was younger, but the OH wasn’t in to it. Now there’s no reason for me not to, albeit AGE – but I’m good an up for it and want to start by cycling to Oz (to see my little sis). I’ll be reading your blog with interest – ‘specially coping with the low budget!

    1. Hi Terri, so nice of you to drop by! It’s great to hear you have the urge to go off travelling – starting with a cycle to Oz is certainly admirable! I say go for it 🙂 like you say, what reason have got not to? My upcoming trip is somewhat terrifying when I properly think about it but I know it is going to be THE adventure of my life. Thanks so much for following!

  4. Hey Kelly!
Just wanted to say I love all your Iceland entries! I was there a few months ago but sadly our dog sledding got cancelled due to weather – was great to see your photos and see what it’s like! Have you already been cycling around Iceland? Your routes are so scenic and well planned! Anyway, thumbs up from a fledging blogger! 🙂

    1. Hi Jared, thanks for stopping by 🙂 aw that’s a real shame it got cancelled. But a good excuse to go back! I am now on my final week of cycling round Iceland. I’m currently in the South east corner and have yet plenty more to see before my time is up!
